Dog-man by Louise Roke
Updated: Jul 23, 2019
Gaz is the dog-man; he is the leader of the pack; proving that you don’t need to be loud, obnoxious or a bully to take control. I call him the dog whisperer but he refers to himself as the dog screamer. However, as you will hear he is a gentle Englishman who somehow has ended up with a pack of dogs that he entertains for their absent owners. He hasn’t got a loud bone in his body. He is sometimes too gentle for his own good, never being able to say no when asked to dog-sit. Gaz goes out of his way to make dogs and people happy. Almost too happy that Gaz the gentle dog-man hasn’t had a day off in years, literally! Tune in to the story of Gaz his daily life; if you ever thought it was an easy job think again as occasionally things really do go to the dogs!

Learn From Your Dog - Author Unknown
When loved ones come home always run to greet them
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy
When it’s in your best interest practice obedience
Let others know when they’ve invaded your territory
Take naps
Stretch before rising
Run romp play daily
Thrive on attention and let people touch you
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do
On warm days stop to lie on your back on the grass
On hot days drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree
When you are happy dance around and wave your entire body
No matter how often you’re scolded don’t buy into the guilt thing and pout
Run right back and make friends
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm
Stop when you have had enough
Be loyal
Never pretend to be something you are not
If something you want lies buried; dig until you find it
When someone is having a bad day sit, be silent sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
